He then explained my current problem, and advised me that another part seemed to be making a noise, indicating that it would soon fail. I was given the option of replacing the additional part (which was about 14 years old) at once, or waiting until it failed totally. Since waiting would have resulted in a second service call within a fairly short time, I had all the work done that day.
Thank you so much for taking the initiative to repair our water softener over the holidays. We had been on vacation during the time of repair and it was comforting to know it had been taken care of and ready to go upon our return.
